My partner and I had the pleasure of staying at La Maison entre Mer et Montagnes during our recent city trip to Cap-Chat, and it was a good escape. Nestled among the Chics-Chocs Mountains and overlooking the serene Saint-Lawrence Seaway, this charming B&B not only radiates warmth and hospitality but also boasts a unique historical significance as one of the six oldest houses in the area. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the attentive hosts, Giselle and Danny, who made us feel right at home. The shared bathrooms were impeccably clean, and our spacious room provided all the comforts we needed, including free Wi-Fi and a fridge-perfect for storing some local treats we had picked up. Each morning, we indulged in the delicious breakfast prepared by Giselle, complete with fresh fruits and homemade jams, which set a lovely tone for our day of exploration. What made our stay even more special was the gentle reminder of rural life and local culture, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The stunning views from the terrace of the Cap-Chat River added an extra romantic touch to our evenings. Whether you're looking to relax or adventure into the local beauty, La Maison entre Mer Montagnes is an excellent choice that I wholeheartedly recommend.
